Thanks for the comments and grammatical corrections, and i did in fact neglect to mention that Mr. Chang was blind which was why he made my personal top 5 list of favorite characters of this series. I do think however that he should have gotten move fight scenes.

Black Lagoon is just simply amazing it’s animated by the famous studio MadHouse means that every scene is perfect.

All the characters are just oozing with a sense of individuality that overcomes there obvious stereotypical roles. Not only do they all have a brain, there motivations and philosophies are well expressed through in their dialog. No longer do you have to think “Why the hell did [Insert Characters Name*cough*Simon] do this what a retard.” .

Also, don’t hang me for this one people, I Highly recommend the English Dub. Yes, I know, there’s a general idea that English Dubs botch a series. But for the entire series the characters are supposed to be speaking English and the Japanese was a translation for the audience. But it’s not as if they are always speaking in English even when they are not supposed to . If someone is supposed to be speaking Russian then they speak Russian and put subtitles on the screen.

It was the most realistic use of language I’ve ever seen in an anime.

Ok, enough about me obsessing over the awesomeness of the dialog.

If you love films by the Coen Brothers or Quentin Tarantino, then you are absolutely going to love this.

Black Lagoon is everything I want in an anime Sexy, Full of curves, Philosophy and did I mention violent? It easily makes my top list.

By the way Shadieville it’s Wielding not wheedling. Trying to imagine him wheedling someone is rather comical. Oh and you forgot to mention one thing that sets the Dual Wielding, Beretta toting Mr. Chang apart from everyone else. He’s Blind..
