This post is my entry into this month’s Japan Blog Matsuri being hosted by Deas of Rocking in Hakata. The last time I entered the Matsuri was last September when the theme was “the language of Japan” and my entry was “Learning Japanese is complicated but not difficult.” This month’s theme is “Foreign Food” and for almost 2 weeks I have had various ideas floating around in my head, the first being to show off my creation when I cooked dinner last Sunday (didn’t turn out too well -_-) and the second being pictures and a write up of my favourite local fast food joint (will post this in the future). In the end I woke up this morning to the sweet aroma of my finalized entry in the matsuri – Chicken Foot Soup!

What’s in it?
- Chicken Feet! (duh)
- Potatoes
- 2 types of Yam
- Carrots
- Soup Noodles
- Chayote (we call it Cho-Cho)
- Flour Dumplins
- 1 Huge Scotch Bonnet Pepper
- Seasonings, Herbs, Spices
- other things I am sure I am forgetting

I try to give my pet Gundam two filling meals everyday
Why I like It
It cures, treats or makes almost all illnesses better, it’s like an undiscovered elixir of life! Have a cold? Chicken foot soup! Back pain? Chicken foot soup! Depression? Chicken foot soup! Fatigue! Chicken foot soup! – but the most important problem it cures is a strange illness called hunger ^^.
Thanks Mom!
