Cool Blue Hole Revisited

Cool Blue Hole is a hidden natural gem that is a favourite getaway of mine. I first visited three years ago and shared some great photos in a blog post here. Since then I have been back a couple of times and last weekend I visited with a small group of friends again on a VERY rainy day. What I thought would have been light afternoon showers turned out to be a torrential downpour complete with lightning and thunder, but it did little to dampen our spirits as we spent a great day out.

Dusted off the DLSR

I had not picked up and used my DSLR in months because of the chaos of school and work and it felt good again to be out and about snapping pictures far outside the concrete jungle of Kingston.

I even got the chance to play with some fancy lenses for my Nikon D70 and recorded some footage using my Samsung Galaxy S4 (which got soaked!) that I have embedded below.
