I'm still waiting to see what Google will do with Chrome. Firefox's success is largely thanks to Google's financing, loaned staff and Adsense promotion. So what of Chrome? Will they drop it like Lively, let it go stale like Friend Connect, or really, and I mean REALLY start stealing market share from Firefox?

I chuckled reading that. Yea, IE users are terribly slow at upgrading - most of them are either under the tight binds of corporate inefficiency (usually they'll just wait it out until the 'tech' guys upgrade their browsers for them) or are too unfamiliar with how a computer/browser works that they think IE6 is good enough.

What I really love about Firefox 3.5 is that it comes with private browsing mode - I always had to switch over to Chrome for private (or in Chrome's term, 'incognito mode') browsing to hide my trails when I felt I needed to. I had to shuttle constantly between Chrome and Firefox, which kind of makes it ridiculous.

Oh, and one new lovely feature of Firefox 3.5 - it allows you to selectively restore tabs after the browser had crashed or was terminated (e.g. by DEP in Vista). Most of the crashes I get was erroneously coded javascript, and with the old Firefox what I get is a never-ending circuit of battling to close that problematic tab before it loads and then Firefox crashes again, lol.

One great thing about having so much Firefox visitors, is that you know 90% of them will upgrade to the latest version within a month, as opposed to IE users which update once a decade :p
