Definitely right about Japan not crowing about its efforts to aid and support other nations.

This might sound cynical, but it’s pretty smart of them to fly low and avoid the radar the way they do when involved in endeavors overseas.

Sometimes it seems that the West, whenever it donates a lot, has to talk about it and we feel like we just give give give and others don’t. Japanese help quietly, really suits their temperament. In the end, they might do a better job than some western countries, and one of those is biiig and north of Jamaica

I plan to apply for the JET programme when i start and finish my degree, you should apply for it since you have your degree already.

I agree with this article myself and believe Japan has done a lot with Jamaica. Personally I have checked out the JET program and found it interesting. I think more countries could develop programs just like this – it not only helps relationships but it plays your part as a global citizen.
