		<description>Interesting. I have not heard this system before.  I have always heard how countries want to attract skilled, educated labor but not through a point system.  The US does not do this at all, not even skilled, educated foreigners.  It appears that US immigration is based more on family relationships.  Such as someone has a relative living in the US so they are granted residency based on that, not on education or skills.</description>
