Just started watching Bleach “properly”

Bleach is a very popular manga which was then turned into an anime series. It was created by Noriaki Kubo better known by his pen named Tite Kubo from the Hiroshima prefecture of Japan. Bleach is an anime I started out watching a few years ago, but got bored by it’s slow pace and initially I didn’t like the comedic twists and animations it had from time to time, I just found it awkward that a character could be bloodthirsty one minute that be a stupid comedian the other minute. Bleach stars Ichigo Kurosaki who starts the anime as a high school student who has a run in with soul reaper named Rukia Kuchiki and before you know it the story explodes into an action packed anime with light sprinkles of comedy.

From what I see and hear among my friends Bleach is the next popular long running and continuous anime series after Naruto. You all know how disappointed I am with the stretching out of the Naruto anime currently and it just seems I get angrier each week when all kinds of unexplained bullshit continues to happen in the manga. I have a bunch of anime memorabilia in my room and one of them is the hat Kisuke Urahara wears, he is my favourite character. ^_^

I am at episode 45 and without spoiling too much in case anyone is further behind than me Ishida just dispatched Mayuri Kurotsuchi and Ichigo is trying to learn his bankai. I doubt I will be watching the fillers which are from about episode 64 to 96 but I will post more on my thoughts on Bleach when I have caught up with the latest releases and have to wait on my weekly fix.
