My Entrecard Experience

It’s been almost 2 months since I signed up for entrecard and I previously did a post explaining how entrecard works and what it can and should do, I have even given away a few points in a very successful entrecard competition in which i got over 20 entries.

The Raw Figures

Entrecard has sent me almost 2500 visitors in the time I have used it – a little over 1000 via ads I purchased on other sites and over 1300 from the entrecard.com website. I’ve dropped my card on other blogs over 1600 times and have had almost 2400 cards dropped back on mine….thats a very favourable drop ratio ^_^. The cost to advertise on my blog has been as high as 150 credits but I now know how to keep that cost hovering around 75-100 credits…which I think is an acceptable price for a blog at my level.

Positives and Negatives

Traffic is the main positive of entrecard, and with more traffic comes more comments and RSS subscribers. I have seen a notable rise in my subscribers and card droppers will leave a quick comment every now and again and even return to my site from time to time. Personally I don’t see much negatives in entrecard apart from a few over exuberant droppers with overpriced ad spots but those users can just be ignored all together. New features and updates to the entrecard site and system has been a regular feature over the weeks and I hope this will continue to keep the program vibrant and fresh. There is even a shop where you can spend you entrecard points on various services.

It’s good to see some of my blogging pals like Leon and Gordon taking my advice and giving entrecard a try and so far I have not gotten any complaints about the program from them. If you are reading this, have a blog and still haven’t started using entrecard…what are you waiting for?
