Tokyo! – This movie looks very interesting

A few days ago I surfed into the trailer for an interesting new independent film called Tokyo! which will be released in a few weeks on march 6th. I doubt I will be able to catch it at any local theaters but from the description and trailer alone I am very excited and looking forward to watching this film.

About the film

From what I can peice together from various sources Tokyo! is a film made by a French production company and was film on location in the Asian motropolis of the same name. The film tells 3 different tales all taking place in Tokyo;

  • Merde is about an unkempt, gibberish-spewing subterranean creature of the Tokyo sewers who turns into a public menace and miniature Godzilla.
  • Shaking Tokyo follows a hermit who has not left his Tokyo apartment in a decade but suddenly falls in love with a pizza delivery girl.
  • Interior Design is about a young couple with big dreams who move to Tokyo but faces many challenges and soon the female undergoes a strange transformation. Check out the Trailer below.

Looking forward to seeing this film? and will it open in your theaters on March 6th?

    Yeah I caught the trailer on Apple and was impressed. Considering it’s got Michel Gondry & Bong Joon-ho’s names on it AND it’s about occurances in Tokyo, I’m there!! I probably won’t get to see it really soon though :(
