Tokyo World’s forth most Important city

Tokyo is the capital of Japan and according to a recent survey by the Independent Newspaper it is the most important city in all of Asia and 4th most important in the world. Cities were ranked based on various criteria, including population, economy and influence. I’m not surprised by Tokyo’s high ranking, after all it’s the largest metropolitan area in the world, hosts various internal events regularly, at the cutting edge of technology not to mention a cultural behemoth.
London, New York and Paris were ranked 1st to 3rd respectively.
I wonder if Kingston could ever make a list like this in my lifetime?…I have to be honest…it’s highly unlikely.

Wow, London beat NY! I think Tokyo should be ranked around 2-3! And that logo looks like a fan from Sasuke’s clan! Naruto wins =).

Heh, Kingston would probably make one of the top cities in the Caribbean, but not in the world.

Go Tokyo! I though NYC would be #1. Well if they use crime, poverty and music in the ranking then Kingston would definitely be on it!

Yes Stunner,those indices –crime,poverty and music– would definitely result in Kingston being ranked.Remember,in crime, specifically, as it relates to homicide,we are( Jamaica,but most of these homicides are in Kingston) number one in the world.
Well, as far as I know Tokyo is number one in cost of land :)
