Cannabis Honey Oil

There are different names for honey oil, such as weed honey or butane honey oil. But what is honey oil?

What is Cannabis Honey Oil?

Made by extracting THC from high-quality buds, marijuana honey is a concentrated liquid. It is like "weed honey." It may be delightful to use. This substance has a honey-like thickness, differing from sugar's appearance.

How to Make Cannabis Honey Oil

Although it is not too difficult, making honey oil does need some attention.

First, always make honey oil outdoors. Butane is very flammable. So, there must be lots of fresh air.

  • Grab your materials

You need cannabis powder, a Pyrex dish, mason jars, filters, and a saucepan. It should be for boiling water. Also, a honeybee extractor if you want to use butane to extract THC. Additionally, you will need two or more cans of premium butane.

Usually constructed of PVC pipe, the extractor is a short tube. Its screw cap features one end with tiny holes and the other end with a single hole. The liquid falls out of the opposite end when you spray butane into the single hole.

  • Fill the filter tube with cannabis

First, take off the extractor's screw and add ground marijuana to it. Pack it enough so that the butane may seep through it all without being too loose or too tight. After inserting a coffee filter, replace the screw top.

  • Insert butane into the filter tube

Next, put the can's tip into the single hole at the end of the extractor and spray. Spray away until the can is empty. It will drip through the coffee filter and out of the holes in the screw cap into your Pyrex dish. The liquid is thick and green.

  • Evaporate the butane

Next, put the dish over a pot of hot water, but do not let it touch the water. This will help the butane dissolve from the cannabis honey. It will leave a safe-to-smoke, sticky THC glue. In the end, people know this substance as "honey oil," "weed honey," "wax," "shatter," or "hash oil."

  • Scrape and store your cannabis honey

When the butane is no longer hot, use a sharp blade to scrape the weed honey oil off the bottom of the dish. Spread the oil out on some parchment paper and let it dry. Take it to a head shop and buy a non-stick container. You can also fold it up and keep it that way until you're ready to use it.

Now comes the fun part! Enjoy smoking your oil. A glass oil rig is a fancy way to do it, but you can also roll some oil into a joint or dab it on a hot bowl for an easier method.

What is Butane Honey Oil?

BHO, or butane honey oil, is a strong cannabis product. It comes in various shapes and sizes. People know that BHO products have very high amounts of THC, anywhere from 80% to 90%. The method involves taking THC and chemicals out of weed using butane, propane, or a mix of the two. After the oil is extracted, remove the solvent to reveal a sticky yellow oil that is usable.

There are different kinds of BHO, and each one has its own traits. As an example, shatter looks like clear glass and is the hardest to break apart. Wax looks like candle wax and has a slightly rough texture. Its color is also darker than shatter. The texture of the budder is soft and smooth, like frosting or nut butter. It is famous for having a lot of THC in it. Another shape that looks like a honeycomb and is easy to break is crumble. It is dry and a bright yellow color.

You can also use a darker amber-colored oil type of BHO in cartridges, needles, or medicines. Freezing marijuana buds makes live resin. It is a terpene-rich product for dabbing or using in cartridges. You can eat marijuana isolates, like THCA isolates, which have over 90% of the cannabinoids in them. You can also turn them into THC to get its energizing benefits. Terp sauce tastes and smells better. It mixes THCA crystals with a runny terpene sauce.

What is Honey Oil Used For?

People use BHO in many different ways for both medical and fun reasons. You can put it in drinks, food, and skincare items. When you eat BHO, your digestive system breaks down the THC. This may make the effects stronger and last longer than when you smoke or vape.

There is another way to turn BHO into THC medicines. These are the oils you take under your tongue or mix with food and drinks. If a syringe has dropped the oil under your tongue, it goes directly into your blood. It starts working in about 20 minutes, much faster than food, which may take up to 45 minutes to have an effect.

Some lotions, creams, salves, and balms can contain BHO for external application. Applying these to an area can help relieve localized pain and swelling. You can smoke or vape BHO for quicker, whole-body benefits that are calming and exciting to the mind and body.

You can also mix it with already-ground weed in a bowl to make it stronger and tastier, or roll it into a joint. Most people use a e dab rig or handheld vaporizer to "dab," or heat up the BHO to make smoke. It's easy and accurate to control the temperature of electric nails and disposables.

The THC chemicals make one high, calm down, or even go crazy when smoked, eaten, or applied to the skin. Patients who use BHO as medicine can find relief from pain, inflammation, and anxiety. People turn to it for relaxation and to boost their well-being.
